Sitting high,
covering a pair
of hidden eyes.
A small glare
from a nearby light
colors a strip.
A faint white
against the black shift.
It completely covers
everything under,
masking from the waters
of waterfalls of plunder.
Now, you're gone
replaced with whoever you choose
a smile for fun
a scowl to threaten a dude to lose.
In whichever style,
color, or shape,
for just a while
sunglasses can be great.
